"In the Garten where my favourite willow tree resides, its drooping leaves imbibe my stray whispers as though they are loose crepuscular rays shimmering through an overcast autumnal sky. “Caroline?” A grey heron, camouflaged in the dense thicket, peeks out through the fog. “Tony!” The willow tree overhears me, a crestfallen Pied Piper, echoing to the baby ducks wading along like jetsam across the piano-driven pond~undulating~gently~into~a~dream~sequence. [The willowy silhouette of the tree—a waxy elegy—a curly mondegreen—"a hologram of SOPHIE”] My favourite willow tree is a symphony reverberating in recalcitrant attunement—“GD-DA-AE (to you), my boy,” says the violin-turned-willow-low-low vocoder, enshrouded by a billow that’s architecturally and collectively unsound, always about to collapse on its own humid familiar.
