Honeycomb, salt, shell, collected things    
photographs stored, bound, remembering
If the past keeps on stalling, will you promise me?
 
Stolen stone, ring, notes, lock and key
Cigarette stubs, string, pulled-out teeth
If it sounds like I’m falling, will you carry?
 
Collecting the memories of the days and nights,
Of past lives and now I’m drowning
Still be there on downstream if I let go
Who will hold them if I don’t?
Honeycomb dissolves in water
 
Riverbed sings, soft, willow tree
Unspoken words, line broke, steadying
If the weight gets too heavy, will you tenderly?
 
Releasing the memories,
Of days and nights, of past lives and now I’m floating                                                        
They’ll break apart and sink when I let go
