Heathens by Tara Nome Doyle
»Heathens« is the first single release from Tara Nome Doyle's debut album »Alchemy«, which will be released on 27.1.2020 by Martin Hossbach.
»Heathens« is the opening song of the concept album, which was recorded in large parts with David Specht (bass player and producer of Isolation Berlin) and Doyle's newly founded band in Buch, Berlin.
The song tells of the emptiness and confusion that lost faith can leave, and it represents the first phase of the alchemical process – the impure, chaotic primal state of matter (»nigredo«).
More singles will follow in November, December and January.
P.S.: Doyle’s middle name, »Nome«, is pronounced just like the name »Naomi«.
Tara Nome Doyle is a Norwegian-Irish singer/songwriter born and bred in Berlin, Germany.
She grew up between doors, between city life and untouched nature. Her music embodies these inner conflicts, varying between slow, sweet melodies and ecstatic crescendos with lyrics that speak of reflections on crisis and belonging.
