After a groundbreaking year for HE.SHE.THEY. Records, culminating in a DJ Mag nomination for Best Label, it’s time to kick off 2024 with none other than the return of multi-talented SYREETA and her inspired Shanti EP.
On this EP, SYREETA treats us to an insight in to her spiritual influences, while not missing out on those rolling heavy basslines that render her releases instant dancefloor favourites. The finesse SYREETA possesses to draw from a range of influences is stunningly on full display in Tihana: from UK Garage to classic Detroit Techno with a dip in Bass House, all united with a soaring, evocative vocal.
“The Shanti EP feels very special to me, I really enjoyed exploring another aspect of my sound. Shanti is Sanskrit for peace, and is chanted to bring peace to the mind, body and spirit. Practicing mindfulness and meditation is a huge part of my life and it feels amazing to be able to translate that into a track to share with others on the dance floor.”
