Took the long route, but still here for the ride.
Have been chasing, have been watching the line
All this time, life was passing me by

But I just woke up from the darkest dream
I checked the mirror but no demons to be seen
Now the past is prologue I’m just out of the gates
Getting ready to make more mistakes

Make some more mistakes, man

This is The Comeback I’m resilient
Now take your best shot, cause I can withstand it
They’ve had their chance, when I was on the ground
Gonna kick some ass, and they won’t be smiling now

‘Cause I just told you that I’m doing alright
Feared by the devil that I had to fight
Had the doctors do their work on my mind.

I carried weight but learned to travel light.

As we fail our intent
