I lie here awake.
Turning from one side to another.
I close my eyes, desperate for sleep.
Keep looking deeper into myself,
doubting my sanity.
How can i be certain,
i am not slowly turning insane?

Long bygone ... the moment of clarity.
And i fear ... i've lost my mind.

Restless, brooding. I get up,
Out into night's frigid cold.
Pacing from one place to another.
Still so long 'till dawn.
Minutes pass like hours,
as i grasp for things my hands can't reach.

Depraved of sleep
My eyes are burning.
How can i keep
my thoughts from turning...
... against me?

Aching, writhing in pain. Veins filled with fire.
Loathing my body, as it's growing weak.

Hunger. I am starved. Can't keep anything in.
Retching ... More vomit ... Everything tastes bleak.

Things I once liked turn into unflavored greys.
No happy memory can put my mind at ease.

Can't tell how much time has passed ... It's dawning.
But the mornings light won't bring any relieve nor peace.

I look into the mornings icy ray
And find myself mourning another wasted day.
... Another wasted day...
