Hyperion from Hyperion by Supralightning
Destined to an epic track from the moment it was composed. This track started as the simple acoustic melody you hear in the beginning. I composed the song in 2 days from there, it literally felt like it was writing itself... everything flowed all the way through. Recording it on the other hand, was a beast. 5 Acoustic guitar tracks, 8 Electric guitar tracks, and bass & drums of course. The sound here is so massive it was difficult to fit all of it into one master track!

Supralightning is a music project that began back in 2008. The goal was to create guitar-based instrumental music of a wide variety. The project has produced music ranging from rock and heavy metal, to soft, relaxing, and melodic tracks. All the music has been created in a home studio, with the occasional guest artist appearance. Influences include Metallica, Uaematsu, Satriani, and Annihilator.
