Fuckethead by Sunburned Hand of the Man

'Don't worry, that exceedingly loud glitch during the intro to Fuckethead is intentional (and is most probably recycled from Jaybird which started similarly). You might want to turn down the volume in order to not murder your speakers. What follows is a nearly thirty-five minutes long live gig of Sunburned at their most extreme. It takes a full ten minutes of random noises and fucked up rants before any discernable beats come in. But even then, things don't get much more coherent. My first impressions were that Fuckethead is Sunburned's attempt at a Godspeed You! Black Emperor-like monster progressive tune. But of course, in the hands of Sunburned, you're lucky if you get a few seconds of actual melody. Musical madness at it's most brutish form, Fuckethead will leave few heads unturned. Even fans might do a double take before catching on. Gotta love it! As with Glik, the CD-R is housed in a single plastic shell you find in dollar stores.'

Sunburned - Recored live at Death By Audio, Brooklyn, NY in September 2007. Psycho-squad lead by the late Adam Nodelman in full freaky tweaky for a death by chicken audience. This was only released in a cdr edition of 36.
