Baskerville by FF feat. Brothermartino

released September 30, 2025
Baskerville: feline jazz, velvet groove.
When FF and Brothermartino crossed paths in a London studio, what started as a session quickly turned into an encounter of minds and intentions.
Two different but kindred approaches collided: FF, crate-digger at heart, with a taste for dusty funk breaks and raw hip-hop programming; Brothermartino, producer and multi-instrumentalist, chasing sound through flutes, keys, and analogue synth explorations.
The chemistry was instant.
The result is Baskerville, the new entry in the SBDubClub series: jazz and hip-hop stripped to the bone, an essential project carved from concrete sounds and built with microscopic precision. Nothing extra, nothing ornamental—just groove and atmosphere.
From a smoky basement in central London to the silence of outer space, this record is both underground and cosmic.
FF drives the backbone: drums, basslines, and samples with grit. Brothermartino paints the air: woodwinds, harmonies, synth pulses. Every note is deliberate, every silence carries weight.
“We arrive dry, bare bones. There’s not much to explain… nahmean?” — Brothermartino
“Working with Martin and his uncompromising sensibility is a gift. Ever since music linked us up, it’s been running the show. Top cats in your stereo.” — FF
Vinyl only. No Spotify.
Baskerville comes exclusively on a limited edition 7-inch vinyl, handcrafted at Il Vinilificio, Bologna.
No playlists, no digital noise—just Bandcamp, for listeners who trust ears over algorithms.
