No angel or devil has ever walked as far
As the people you abandoned

We take away your toys, we take away your pride
You sell the cattle promises, but all your worlds are lies

The masses will believe you no matter what you say
Your words are non-existent and that’s the price we pay
For making up the answers, and breaking up the way
Of all the people that you left behind

So now you line your pockets with the treasures of the dead
You take away their freedoms with every lie your spread

You might as well be broken for all the good you do
Your lies have unspoken as if they were the truth
So back into the ether for all you put us through
