Lyrics

I thought I was a soldier, fighting for the right,
Bled for the flag, but it faded in the night.
Trusted hands betrayed, with a knife in my back,
Threw me into the flames, where all fades to black.
Hell’s gates opened wide, they called out my name,
Said if I want her back, I gotta burn in their flame.

Gave my soul for love, thought I’d rise from the dead,
But they tricked me, stole my soul instead.
I’m shackled in chains, beneath brimstone skies,
Watching as angels fall, but I still rise.
Betrayed by my own, they laughed as I fell,
But I’ll crawl out of the pit, bring fire from hell.

Hell can’t hold me,
And neither can Heaven.
The chains they gave, now I wield,
The hero I rise, unbound, revealed.
Heaven and Hell, I need no help.
Beyond them both, I crown myself.

Now I walk with powers that the evil fear,
Hunting the guilty, bringing justice near.
Symbiote around me, like a second skin,
A spawn from hell, and I fight to win.
With guns ablaze, magic in my veins,
Evil crumbles, the battlefield bloodstained.

Hell can’t hold me,
And neither can Heaven.
The chains they gave, now I wield,
The hero I rise, unbound, revealed.
Heaven and Hell, I need no help.
Beyond them both, I crown myself.

Now I descend, but this time by choice,
I reign in the pit, with a thunderous voice.
No longer a pawn, I make them kneel,
Tore through the traitors, with iron and steel.
Found my love, saved from flame,
Now they know, I’ve staked my claim.

Hell can’t hold me,
And neither can Heaven.
The chains they gave, now I wield,
The hero I rise, unbound, revealed.
Heaven and Hell, I need no help.
Beyond them both, I crown myself.

King of both, I sit on my throne,
All thanks to the seeds they’d sown.
Had I not betrayed, I wouldn't be this strong,
I thank ‘em, and crush ‘em, where they belong.
Through their trials, my strength was gained,
I rule above both Heaven and Hell’s reign.

I crown myself.

Heaven and Hell,
I need no help.
Beyond them both,
I crown myself.
