Hex Romantica by Stonehag

It's that time of the year again, a cold chill blows and entwines with a taste of a nostalgic summer's end depression.

And here one thought that with age would come some clarity, but alas, it's getting more and more cryptic, with a deepened sense of complexity where old emotions seem to give way to a new reality which is indeed stranger than all the illusory scenarios conjured up in the last drunken and hazy decade.

Happiness blooms but not without a sense of impending doom and inescapable fear.

"Hex Romantica" has been brewing for a couple of months, not really what one would like to release but its better than no spiritual and artistic expression at all, that would be, i guess, a total annihilation of the self.
In a way it captures precisely the flawed and fragile nature of this particular reality, the chaos and uncertainty that permeates this sensitive status quo.

Acidic and raw, romantic as ever, inspired by all the goth cliches you can think of, sprinkled with a little bit of 80's horror soundscapes and dunked deep in a vat of pseudo philosophical ramblings, a trainwreck, but with heart.
