still waters by stillness3
The second album from Berlin's Stillness3, a trio of jazz musicians playing contemplative jazz - less notes, more intention - simple compositions and extended improvisations and a fresh sound based on deep listening.

As with the first album the track names are borrowed from cultures around the world, and in this case they all have water-related meanings... see individual songs for translations.
'Yuval' forms a bridge between sections of the album, a kind of contemplation of what we've just heard and a preparation for what is to come; rather like the Promenades in Mussorgsky's 'Pictures At An Exhibition'
