steven: risk. i took a big one in going after five tracks by neal retke ({AN} EeL.
the risk was all mine and i figured when i was two tracks in to rebuilding his music that maybe should i ask for his permission and he came out on the porch and yelled up the hill to my home . . . "of course!!!"
I rebuilt them with love and care, snaring phrases, essence, texture, and only gently messing with his voice!!!!!

{AN} EeL: So did you hear the one about the two guys who lived in rural Ontario, Canada ? They had some circumstances that revolved around the legendary international D.I..Y. scene and art openings in mysterious castle brownstone studio biscuit sorties.

Anyhow, the thing is this project was initiated in the wake of their genial prior collaboration, and a bit of the " Special Sauce " No less - A Collection of re-mixes, re-imaginings & re-interpretations & intrepid attitudes & Brass Tacks, Ect.
