I live in a small city called Peterborough in the Province of Ontario. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peterborough,_Ontario ) A region characterized by teardrop-shaped hills called drumlins, and thousands of lakes that were formed by retreating glaciers from the last ice-age.

I wrote to Christopher and asked if he would like to collaborate on some music. I believe the instigator for that "call" was the Notorious Neal Retke.
Christopher sent me some wonderful beautiful and sometimes even lush soundscape stems and gave me carte blanche to work and play with them as I wished!!! I added my own sounds and mixed them with cut-and-pasted elements of Christopher's scapes.

This is the first of three E.P. length releases that were created in the especially fertile and rich environment that Christopher's music made available.

C.P. McDill: "When Steven approached me to collaborate with him on a series of recordings, I was delighted at the opportunity. I promptly set about to assemble a varied collection of sound recordings to be used as building blocks, sounds for Steven to add his own to in the final mix. Such was my enthusiasm that I sent him quite a lot of material, so-- this is to be the first of several joint releases by us. I hope you enjoy them, and will keep an eye out for future work by us."

I am a Canadian musician who creates soundscapes. These soundscapes are created with Arturia Microfreak and Minifreak synthesizers various electronic devices , pre-recorded loops, field recordings, and found sounds. I am also a member of "The Forever Moment" a band where I get to co-create music with Mark Cook.
