Starlit Tales is a solo project by Viktor Tikhonov, drummer and co-writer of music in the bands Kshettra and Detieti. Viktor has been working in book publishing for many years, and Starlit Tales is an attempt to get closer to this important part of himself musically. The driving force behind the project is the idea of writing soundtracks not only to films, but also to books, transferring images from there into the world of musical dreams. The first album «Geo Murmuratio» was inspired by stories about travelers. They turned into fantasies about fictional geographical spaces, filled with New Age escapism and IDM rhythms.
