Odalisque by Spike Wilner Trio
The newest 2017 album from pianist Spike Wilner, "Odalisque" was recorded for a petite, rapt audience of jazz fans in a living room in Vancouver. Playful originals by Wilner mingle with gems from the Great American Songbook, in a program that reflects the philosophy of Wilner's intimate Manhattan jazz club Mezzrow. The performances are a satisfying and engaging experience for the discerning jazz listener.

Michael "Spike" Wilner, is a born and bred New Yorker. He was inspired to play ragtime piano at a young age. He has performed with and led many bands in NYC at many famous jazz clubs including The Village Gate, Mezzrow, Smalls, The West End Gate and The Village Corner. He has toured with The Artie Shaw Big Band, The Glen Miller Orchestra, Maynard Furgeson & Lennie Cuje.
