I spent alone as a child
All the music I found back then
It seems that I need it now
I’m so tired of being the odd one out

We grew up in a golden age
We didn’t know it at the time
But if you really look at those photographs
Then you can see the future in my eyes
You were the one who’d encourage us
Back in the early days
One of the few who’d come to the show
And you’d always come and say “Hello”
