Inspiral Notebooks was recorded at *Flowerpot Studio in Minneapolis MN and at ^Sparta Sound Studio in Sparta MN. All sounds by Rich Mattson unless noted otherwise. Some were done on 4 track, mostly on 16 track. All to tape.

^Runner; ^So Many Faces; ^*Happyhappyhappy; ^Gotta Move; ^Pig's Feet; ^1990 (drums: Brad Nelson, thanks to Curtis Mattson for running the machines); ^Greener (vocals, extraneous guitar - Andy Schultz); ^Mobius Strip; ^Hollowed; *Halfway Home (I wrote this one in around 1988); ^Junky From Kentucky; ^All Over Me (this is an old Glenrustles tune, drums/tambourine by Glen Mattson); *^Big Mouth (violin/fiddle played live by Dave Boquist); *Moths In the Moonlight (I don't recall recording this song at all. I tried this with Ol' Yeller over the years but it never sounds anywhere this f'ed up. Listen for the bug zapper at the end. That's the end of the album). All songs by Rich Mattson, copyright 2007.
