Recorded during a session wich took place in a loft in the south of Paris, here's Soul Sugar's rendition of Jackie Mittoo's Studio One classic "Drum song"
The sound of the re-cut is warm and enveloping with the gorgeous keyboards being candy for the ears.
A real crisp instrumental in state-of-the-art quality !
The "Drum Song Version" on the B-side is not really a dub mix, but more an instrumental that singers/toasters can use in sound system events. However it's also great for home listening.
Pure niceness and a more than worthy tribute to the Jamaican/Canadian Keyboard King.
