Action by Somewhere Violet

Every human being has a set of core beliefs that they hold to. Every belief has a series of thoughts and feelings to which it is associated. We use these processes and emotions to make decisions everyday of our lives - both trivial and significant. Often, however, these thought patterns remain just that - a thought pattern. What we believe is never challenged and never allowed to shine because it never sees the light of day. The best way to demonstrate what you dream and what you believe is to act on it.

Every beginning has an end. Every cause has an effect. Every action has a consequence. An action sets in motion a series of subsequent events, some which may be manipulated and some which cannot be changed, by virtue of simply being the effect of said action. If, indeed, our actions are free, than we can choose for ourselves what it is we want to act upon and how we will act upon it - forever shaping our environment to better suit ourselves and those we care about. However, one cannot always be entirely sure how one is going to act upon something, and sometimes, even, this cannot be changed. Thus it is our actions that ultimately help begin to define who we are and what we believe; and thus it is our actions that we must pay special care and attention to. Actions, after all, are the beginnings of a consequence. And so it is with great pleasure and sincere excitement that Somewhere Violet proudly presents to you: Action.

If it is true that actions speak louder than words, then it is our hope that this album helps to inspire those who have have dreams to act on those dreams - instead of only hoping and speaking of them.
