SFTCHZ by soft cheese
SFTCHZ was made in Hugh's Minneapolis apartment between Sept 24 - June 25, as a kind of love letter to his bandmates in Portland, who he misses very much.
Proceeds from album sales will be donated to the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee (MIRAC), a Minneapolis based organization that "fights for legalization for all, an end to immigration raids and deportations, an end to all anti-immigrant laws, and full equality in all areas of life", and that is outspoken in demanding divestment of institutions in Minnesota from Israel's apartheid and genocide in Palestine. Tracks 2, 3, and 6 were rehearsed together as a band in June 24 and voice memos from those rehearsals were used as references for the recordings. Track 3 was written from a voice memo that Conner sent to the group in March 24, called Reliant Medical Billing 3.
