Sen from Perfect Evasion by Slowwves
This song draws inspiration from Sen, or Chihiro, the protagonist of Spirited Away, one of my
most cherished childhood films. She symbolizes the journey of growing up — a passage from
innocence to maturity in a world shaped by capitalism. The loss of her name mirrors how
people open have to sacrifice parts of their identity in order to survive in such a world. Yet,
the most important thing is to never forget your name and to stay connected to your true
self.
