Moonbeams heal with a touch no god can give
The brightest blue skies fold into an elegant blackness interrupted by distant fireflies
Not even such prose as vivid and divine can justify
It's things such as this that make me proud to live
The understanding of where or how need not be questioned under the majesty of the moonlit night
Because in that moment it no longer matters
It matters not the pain you've endured or the insects that have come to join you
It matters not the straining of your chest or the leaves that fall from above you
It matters not the scars left behind on your wrist or the cool breeze that comes to kiss them better
And these leeches will be blind just as we were time and time before nigh
There was no need to question
For the Moonbeams may not offer guidance but rather hope
A bandage
A clean slate that was as white as herself before stained red
Our lady lunar offers the tools to live
