Standing at the crossroad
So thin in the twilight
Two ways stretch ahead
Endless journeys of toil

Abysses falling deep
Rotting life, destruction
The stench of sin and decay

Confused mind searching for thoughts
Overwhelming weight of temptation
I know the path is narrow
But straight on it cuts through anything

Anywhere, I’d be anywhere else
But my fate is here

Walk the way of life tempted by death
One wrong step and you fall into deception
Treacherous stones pave the road of perdition
I can see a light shining far away

Over the trees, over the mountains
Calling like a shepherd calls his sheep
Agonizing confusion of the soul
Leading to poor choice and delusion

Confused and blinded I stay on the edge
This endless precipice is gaping at me
Greed and lust for power drown me
In this abyss
My questions get no answers

Life or death, good or bad, light over dark
