Rex Ritter recorded these tracks at his studio Magnetic Park. He had a 1/4” 8-track there that his excellent band Jessamine used a bunch.
We were going to be recording our second album for Matador soon, and we needed to get a bead on what we were working with.
We used whatever amps and drums were lying around as I recall.
This is the sum total of the session, minus Numbered, which is on the Developer reissue.
