Transformative Ecstasy by Sitaram Dass

This is a collection of talks and chanting from an event, "Transformative Ecstasy: exploring the inner essence of the devotional mood," that was recorded live on 9/28/19 in Arcata, CA.

All I can offer is the totality of my Being- my ego, my soul, my aspirations, my shortcomings, all of it. This recording, like my writings, is simply a snapshot of a seeker on his journey to God. Doing this event was a useful aid to my spiritual path, and I offer it in the hopes it may aid yours as well.

These talks include short readings from two texts: Tulsidas's Ramcharitmanas (Gita Press) and Shyam Das's telling of the Rasa Lila, Inner Goddess. If you found these passages inspiring, it is my sincere wish that you dive into these Holy Books and drink from their intoxicating well.

Sitaram Dass spent several years serving his beloved teacher Ram Dass on Maui, where he was shown the path of Bhakti. He is a member of the kirtan group, Kripa, and the director of the Sacred Community Project, where he works to lower the barriers of access to contemplative and devotional practices. All of these offerings serve as fundraisers for SCP
