Misshapen World by Sinking
Misshapen World is the second vinyl release from Western Massachusetts’s Sinking, expanding on the 90s alt influences of their previous material while still showcasing a love of 90s midwest emo. The 12” EP features five new tracks on side A, as well as a live session on side B that was recorded in late 2020 at Gate 4 Studio in West Springfield, MA.

Sinking formed in the late summer of 2017 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, with Devan and Dane both on guitar and vocals, and Tyson on drums. Sinking’s original bassist, Tony, left the band last summer, after which friend Nate took over bass duties. The first EP, Gloom, was released in February 2018, followed up by an EP entitled Nightmare in November 2018.
