Simon O'Reillys 2016 album Evolve is evocative, Its like a wall of vinyl falling on your head in a contemporary cluster flux of hypnotic organic beats all wrapped around glitchy guitar, Morricone esque choral parts, a six piece string section, blue note brass and an ancient hurdy-gurd. All are glued together with bucolic and urban field recordings.
