We moved together down the aisles of the super market.
Together in the car to buy school clothes.
Moved away from one another once home.
Meals in silence.

Always learning!

Now I have something to teach! my turn to give a lesson now! My turn to give the lesson.
And the teacher wants to claim old age, lack of memory, can’t recall.
Yet I won’t abandon the isolation embedded in me.

“Duration”, “endurance”. These words imply suffering to me.
Staggering through endless days,
Blind with ire grief, and loneliness.
