I don't keep photographs,
ghosts from the past that hold tears and laughs.
I don't save money for days that it's raining.
Cast my thoughts on a fishing line,
pebble in a pond that sends ripples wide.
And the geese fly by,
but that's my mind moving.

Don't believe in black and white,
i'm not this hate, and not this fight,
that's just a game that we're playing.
Not these masks in the cosmic spin,
i never end and don't begin,
the snake eats it's tail and just keeps on growing.

You can't hold on to a world thats changing,
nothing lasts for long so let the moments go.

I don't keep a diary,
write my words on the sky and sea,
on the river thats flowing.
Illusion she calls the tune,
even if you tried,
you couldn't steal the moon.
So there a'int no use trying.
