conversations strewn across facebook lent itself to the occasion to meet face to face 

so outside station stairs

blushed 

i rushed 

into quick embrace 

hands left unsure of the right place, 

fearful of acts considered brazen

outside the station 

stares illuminating every muscle twitch 

eyes 

       slip 

we smile, kiss 



walk cautious tour of the streets of saint denis

my home, i announced 

somewhat proudly 

she coyly smiled


and we strolled into a bar

hands touch, leffe cups 

door held open 

eyes wide shut 

we smile, kiss 

caution lost in strong winds
hand in hand as my heart races
