The first signs of spring are starting to show
And I've got my sweaters all packed up
The birds on the window sill already singing their songs
But that's not enough for you

You turn to me to tell you what you can already see

Look down at the flowers, all the buds waiting to bloom
We won't have to wait for them for six more weeks
Enjoy the warmth on your skin and point your nose to the sky
You can smell it in the air
Who cares if there's shade in front of me when all the signs are all around you?

We're always on our way to where we're getting to
So what's it matter what I see?
But we all know that you won't stop until you get what you came for
So here's your spring song
