The Tempest by Scott Hunt
The Tempest is an original cast recording of songs and music composed by Scott Hunt for the production of William Shakepeare's play "The Tempest," directed by Edmund Lingan for an 11 show run at the University of Toledo in the Spring of 2018. The album features William Shakespeare's most musical character, Ariel (performed by Kenzie N. Phillips). Other cast members contribute spoken words and voices throughout the album. Scott's music, written specifically to fit with the lyrics of William Shakespeare, make up the character driven songs. In addition to those songs, Hunt also composed a (film-like) underscore for the production to fit certain moods and events which take place in the story of "The Tempest." This marks Scott's second soundtrack album for theatre.

Scott Hunt is an American composer, songwriter, singer and producer. He is best known for his melancholy solo albums and eclectic writing style. When composing his unique form of electro dance flavored music, Scott goes under the moniker "Hunter." Hunt also works as a composer providing original music for independent films, television and the theatre.
