Of the trip I remember: ancient forests, a bright orange butterfly on the wooden porch of the cabin, smocked haddock at Mallaig, hidden bays, baleful flies in a graveyard orange with sunset in Kilchoan, the loneliness of a lighthouse, cold wind, and the three moments captured here.

Scott Crawford Morrison is a writer, composer and performer based in Glasgow.

He is one-fifth of acoustic-ambience band Neuro Trash, and one-half of free improvisation duo Allowed Noise.
