there is a light that shines from hole in breaking wall
rehearse the curse of other side and see who crawls
then they’re with you

a quick look but then they’re over with you now
can’t explain the allegory
it went so fast that all we have our stories now
it goes to show how much we wasted

there is a night which waits to show you crumbling thought
escape the race and when you stop it falls apart
then they’re with you

but look again to find the meaning if you can
there’s nothing there to hang your hat on
if you wait for it to eventually appear
a crumbling wall is all that's here
