Between nine stones I saw myself
Laying in the moist morning grass
Nine shadows upon my body
Left me in the middle of the path
From that void I forced myself
To the deepest calm I could reach
I could not leave the blackness of that realm
I felt the cold under me
As the little drops touched my skin
I couldn’t move or talk and neither I could see
Below young and old I felt myself
Breathing the dry, dusty trail
Nine shadows upon my body
Collapsing my already weak morale
I felt the pressure against me
As the horrid thoughts got big
I couldn’t move or talk or neither
I could see
I’ll ask the moon where do you lay to rest
How do you feel beneath the sheets
If you’re warm enough
If you lack the softness of a skin
And the winter comes with its crystal breeze
And the cold comes in through this bone white skin
Between nine stones I saw myself
Laying in the moist morning grass
Nine shadows upon my body
Left me in the middle of the path
I felt the cold sweat on me
As the fear became mendacity
I couldn’t move or talk or neither I could see
I felt the cold under me
I felt the pressure against me
I felt the cold sweat on me
And I felt it sweet
