Dry July by Thornucopia

DRY JULY was originally released on CD in 1993, as a co-release between Lather Records and Kumquat Records. The "Wake Up/Lullaby" 7" is out of print. The band released several cassettes and we hope to digitize the best stuff and throw it up on Bandcamp at some point.

Thornucopia was a Davis-based band that formed in 1988 and dissolved in late 1993. Most of the band members were UC Davis students and KDVS DJs. Perhaps because there were fewer bands at the time, Thornucopia was fortunate to play on bills with the likes of Nirvana, Green Day, Cranberries, X, Yo La Tengo, Thin White Rope, Thinking Fellers Union L282, Superchunk, Meat Puppets, 7 Seconds, Rev Horton Heat, etc.
