Samuel Adams is a composer of orchestral, chamber, and electroacoustic music. His recent collaborators include violinist Karen Gomyo, pianist Conor Hanick, Spektral Quartet, the Australian Chamber Orchestra and the San Francisco Symphony. He is a 2019 Guggenheim Fellow and has held residencies with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Het Concertgebouw Amsterdam. He lives in Seattle.
