The Basement from Riveter by Sami Braman
At the Portland Old-Time Gathering in early 2020, I played tunes with Maggie and Patrick Lind in the newly remodeled basement of their home until we started to deliriously invent tunes. Inspired by the first few notes of a tune Nokosee Fields taught me earlier that weekend (Art Wooten’s Hornpipe), this is what came out!
