With three memorable vocalists, a heap of “uppity” original songs, and virtuoso piano, guitar, mandolin, harmonica and fiddle, this acoustic trio from Virginia became one of the blues’ most popular acts. Pianist/guitarist Ann Rabson had been playing for 30 years when she first taught guitar to award-winning teacher Gaye Adegbalola. Multi-instrumentalist Andra Faye perfectly completed the group.
