Original used cassette recorded on a Philips MC-222 Micro System through Numark PT-01 USB. Post-processing on Logic Pro's Mastering Assistant (updated 8 November 2024).
Pure Saturday was released in 1996, and sold only 5000 copies. Alternative rock wasn't popular to mainstream in Indonesia back in the 90s, they published the release on Hai so they could get better coverage in the music scene. This album was influenced by the sounds of The Cure, Breeders, Smashing Pumpkins, and also Ride.
Since their master tape has lost 20 years prior, it was discovered at the former legendary Triple M studio storage. The band haven't planned for a remaster for the streaming services because it's a 2-inch Ampex 456 tape, and remastering it will cost a lot of money. Fun fact, Pure Saturday cassettes is now sold for IDR 200k above.
