My roots in music have always been in metal music, with this album being a venture into the distorted sounds that influenced my own childhood. Recorded with the Bleak District Electric RecHead that was sent by mistake (thank you to the guy who I bought it from not getting mad that I played it) instead of their Sun?no))) pedal, the results from this pedal is a level of tape saturation that rivals portable cassette recorders.
Featuring a guitar that becomes a wall of sound, this album pushes the boundaries in saturation that most hardcore and metal albums avoid. Inspired by the noise of 'Red, Vol. 1', this album also taps into my noise influences, with songs like 'Finding My Way Through Dissonant Stars' and 'Take a Break/New End (Live)' taking gritty inspiration from the soundscapes of that record.
