In 1945, with a diamond ring sparkling on my left hand, I sadly waved goodbye as my love headed for the Pacific on a Canadian navy ship. I recorded a love song and sent it to him. Because it could only be played on the ship's public address system, all those Canadian sailors heard my tender love song, "Making Believe", and dreamed of their own wives and sweethearts. This recording, created 60 years later, is dedicated to my late husband, Jim Beatty.

I've been singing since I was 4 years old but late in starting to make recordings. These Are The Days was recorded when I was 75, Making Believe was recorded when I was 79 and the Nashville Session was recorded when I was 86 years young.
