Nornegaldr from Seidsang by Rúnahild

«Nornegaldr» (incantations of the Norns) was recorded after an utesitting ceremony under the full moon at the night of the witches. The utesitting is an old ritual which consists of sitting somewhere in nature in silence from sunset to sunrise, merging with the world of the spirits and opening the soul to be guided by the unseen world. I chose to sit in the marshes and the experience was of the most mystical, among the songs of birds guiding into and out of the darkness under the haunting silver shine of the moon. The song is about calling to the inner strength, to fully empower one’s destiny and dare shining one’s authentic light.
