Seem small but salty, in never closing wounds
In a life beyond the cherry blossom trees

Blind devotion, to what others want for you
And pop-up reminders, of all that’s left to do
Take your station, in high-up photographs
All is real but cherry blossom trees

One thousand selfish seasons, and ashes put to air
And a father’s treason, when seeming not to care
Spring’s not coming, my journal’s mostly blank
