Rebel King by Ro Panuganti
Rebel King is an epilogue to Project Discover (2021), a story of a fictional rebellious exile who fights through vengeance and understanding to respect both heritage and individualism. The story details the challenge of owning leadership and pressure, reflecting on simpler times and follows the prequel album's protagonist as they find a middle-ground. Utilizing 7-string guitar, progressive metal, classic rock, and Indian fusion conventions Rebel King serves as both a closer to one story and the opening to more.
Ro Panuganti is a home-studio guitarist and musician, best known for covering video game soundtracks in progressive rock/metal styles and writing music for the world.
