One from American Chanukah by Robin Spielberg

ONe of my favorite rock bands, U2, songs this song which has a lyric I love, "We're one, buth we're not the same. We hurt each other , and then we do it again...We're one, but we're not the same. We get to carry each other, carry each other." Even though the band is Irish and they are probably singing about something else entirely, I can't help but think of how applicable the song is to conflicts in the Middle East. Music is like that...it can take ou to a place in your own heart and express emotions like no other medium. Here is my version of "One," along with my hope that one day we will "carry each other."
