Airport Song from Finger Painting by Rob Findlay
The feeling of late night/early morning in an airport which is where it was written. The only song I did all myself at home. Tried to do it better with a band but couldn’t. I played about a million guitar and slide guitar tracks over the top and then did a collage edit of dreamy textures. There are no "canned" effects on the slide guitars. It was all done with a Lucas Miles 63 Deluxe Replica Amp which sounds freaking great! Lucas Miles make amps by hand in Melbourne AUS.
