I see the people walking around with condescension
I hear the endless flaws in human communication
I've learned the people, places, and things recieving the most attention
Are actually what's least worthy of mention

Another eyebrow raised at what I'm into, how I live my life
I cannot be phased by your boring alternatives
I've always stood alone and never bothered trying to be understood
Do you even have to ask why?

How can this mean anything to me?
I can't get with this
What's the perk in being a sheep?
And just be honest
Post that quote again like it's something deep
While I fight falling asleep

I gotta tell ya that I'm unimpressed
I can't believe the people we think deserve success
When stickin up for someone turns into a crime
I'm gonna stick up for the underdog every time

So I'll keep being the weird one, the quiet one
Whatever I gotta be to keep you away from me
I've lost count of these trends, the next horrible thing that's in
